Vintage James Clavell’s Shogun Board Game by FASA

I remember when Shogun was on TV. It was a real Big Deal in my family because you didn’t often see historical Japan on English language TV.

Today, the show would have been derided as another story of a white guy hooking it up with someone in Japan.  Back then, though, it was just so rare to see a decent portrayal of Asians that we just ate it up.

This is a gourmet board game based on the book.

I said it’s by Fasa, but it’s not really.  It was made by an English company and Fasa imported it and made it into this attractive bookcase box game.
